As individuals and teams interested in stepping up to assist in flood-related disasters it’s difficult to know where to turn for knowledge. The “formal” flood rescue entities, usually enormously over qualified, want you to obtain a wide range of competencies defined by FEMA that seemingly eliminate you from responding. THIS, then, is where volunteers can come to obtain real world advice and provide one another with suggestions for piercing the veil of bureaucratic overreach.
